Ai-Ling Lu
Physiotherapist

Ai-Ling is our online RED-S & bone-stress injury specialist physio. She enjoys working with endurance and strength athletes of all levels, helping them navigate and prevent the health and performance consequences of overtraining and under-fuelling. She works closely alongside Sports & Exercise Medicine Consultants and Nutritionists to ensure that the appropriate holistic care is provided for all her patients. Through her online work, she has successfully guided countless runners worldwide safely back to their goals, ranging from 5k races to multi-stage ultra marathons.

Ai-Ling's own struggles with disordered eating & over-exercising during her teenage years has been her driving force in continually bringing awareness around RED-S. She has hosted in-person and virtual workshops on RED-S for athletes, coaches, and healthcare professionals to better understand, manage, and prevent further deterioration of one’s health.

Despite growing up with a ballet and cross country background, Ai-Ling now enjoys strength training as her main source of exercise. During her free time, she’s most likely at the gym or plugged into a podcast taking a long walk along the seawall in her hometown, Vancouver.

Nuno Miguel Henriques
Physiotherapist

Nuno has moved to the UK in the past 3 years to pursue his passion for helping individuals achieve their goals and helping to facilitate them in reaching their highest potential. Nuno believes in practicing what you preach and would never advise anything he hasn’t tried himself.

He is an extrovert and part of the reason he loves the profession so much is that he gets to communicate with people from all walks of life. He has an empathetic ear and is always willing to listen. He is always looking to expand his growing networks and build relationships within a multidisciplinary team to improve his practice but more importantly his patient care.

His approach to treatment is very much tailored to the individual, drawing on the most up to date evidence whilst always ensuring he is outcome focused, both on a patient's own goals and, on clinical objective measures, as he wants people to know how they are progressing in his care.

Outside of hands on treatment, he enjoys exercise rehabilitation with appropriate prescriptions and programming to help patients achieve their goals and return to doing what they love quickly and in more robust health.

Other than being a physiotherapist and helping others, Nuno’s passion lies in training and sports. He follows most motorsports closely and loves the CrossFit space having himself started training the methodology back in 2013. Travel has progressively become one of his passions as he has learned perspective from his time abroad.

Luke Van Der Feen
Physiotherapist

Luke was born and raised in Tasmania, Australia making the move to London in 2022. Luke developed a passion for the human body after several long term personal sporting injuries and this led him to pursue studies in Exercise Science and Physiotherapy.

Luke's physiotherapy career has taken him across the east coast of Australia working in a number of areas including: Hospital Orthopaedics, private practice and sporting teams across a number of different codes. While based in London Luke has been working at The Wellington Hospital and has been trusted by London's top orthopaedic surgeons in post-operative rehabilitation.

With further qualifications as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and as a Reformer Pilates instructor, Luke is able to utilise this knowledge in developing a rehabilitation program to suit everyone from weekend warriors to elite athletes.

Luke's mission for every patient is for them to have the confidence to reach higher performance or happiness than they were pre-injury.

Like many people Luke turned to running during COVID and has been hooked ever since. He saw a massive change in his own physical and mental health, as well as the positive changes that outdoor exercise was having on the wider community during a tough time.

When he isn't on a plane eating his way across Europe, you are likely to find Luke running around lost while trying to explore a different corner of the city, or stopping in for a coffee break after a long run on the weekend.

Willam Chen
Physiotherapist

Will studied Physiotherapy in Adelaide Australia and moved to London in 2023. Throughout his younger years, seeing the Physio for ACL and ankle injuries from basketball sparked his interest in the injury management and prevention. Being born in China and moved to Australia when he was eight, Will is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

Will enjoys helping people overcome injuries to live a healthier and happier life. He has worked in musculoskeletal private practice settings in Adelaide and has experience with sports injuries, acute and chronic injuries. Through his work, Will has also had extensive experience utilising Clinical Pilates as a tool to help people manage pain, improve strength and achieve their goals. Will takes an active approach to rehab, and values the importance of not only taking people back to their pre-injury baseline, but to get them even better than before so they can maximise their performance and prevent injuries.

From his interest in strength training, Will received his qualification as a Strength and Conditioning Coach from the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association. This helps him program strength training in and out of the gym to help his clients become stronger and more resilient.

Since 2022, Will developed a love for running for the benefits for his mental and physical wellbeing. He is one of those people who enjoys the mental clarity from a long run without any music, he says it's "meditation" for him. But he also enjoys going to run clubs around London and connecting with the community of like-minded people.

Outside of work, Will is known for having a massive appetite and is always hunting for the best restaurants and flat whites around London and across Europe.
