At The Running Room Physiotherapy Coogee we will help you get out of pain, improve your movement and get you back to your best. To put it simply it is a synergistic co-venture of two established physiotherapy brands that had a passion for providing high quality physiotherapy, evidenced based practice and having a strong sense of community and connection with the locals. It is the coming together of two brands that share the same values and to deliver the most outstanding care to you in Coogee and the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
The Running Room had developed a unique system and concept of treating runners and active individuals and iMove Physio have always been on the forefront of progressive physiotherapy with a true passion for treating runners and the active locals. It doesn’t matter who you see or what condition you have you will get treated in the same principles that made both brands unique and highly successful. In essence, iMove Physio and The Running Room Coogee are one and the same.
You’ll find our team down at Coogee and Marourbra, Bronte and Bondi having swim or up in Centennial park running with local running groups and park runs. We also work really closely with local gyms like, Agoga, F45 Coogee and Rosebay, CrossFit, Symmetrie and have a great relationship with local GP’s and surgeons.

Physiotherapist
Michael is one of the most experienced Physios at iMove Physiotherapy & The Running Room and has a wealth of experience treating active individuals and sporting injuries.
He is fantastic with Shoulders, Hips, and Knees and particularly treating you and training you back to better movement than you’ve ever had before. A fantastic gymnast himself knows what the human body can do. He is also a keen runner and competes on the track during the summer athletics season, racing 400’s and 800’s.
Michael loves snowboarding and his favourite country is Japan. Ask him about his travels.
Harry Lord
Physiotherapist
Harry is a passionate physiotherapist, eager to facilitate anyone dealing with an injury or pain reach their movement goals. Whether it is a lap around the block or an ultramarathon, if it is meaningful to you, then he would like to help. Harry believes high quality care requires effective education and rehabilitation that is specific to the individual’s goals.
Harry loves any sport, the outdoors, and travelling. He grew up playing rugby league and union, basketball, and tennis. He understands the mechanics of how common injuries occur in these sports, the best rehabilitation protocols and training regimes to ensure maximum performance
Today he is an avid runner, gym goer and golfer, loving any activity that gets him outdoors with friends and family. He believes running is fun and has benefits for your physical, mental, and social wellbeing. He also acknowledges the intricacies to running and enjoys creating programs that minimise the risk of injury and facilitate running longer, faster, and with less pain.
Claire Park
Physiotherapist
Claire is a highly skilled Physiotherapist originally from the vibrant streets of London, having recently moved to Australia after not being able to resist the sun of Sydney any longer!
With 8 years of hands-on experience, her focus has now intensified on lower limb injuries and she has treated an extensive variety of conditions. From avid runners to gym enthusiasts to sports players, she has helped guide a range of active individuals back to their fitness goals and beyond, so can help you not only return to but also exceed your goals.
She is passionate about facilitating your recovery and returns to fitness, as she recognises and values the importance of exercise, not only for your physical but also mental health. She is a keen believer in not only treating your symptoms but also identifying the root cause of your issue and addressing this to ensure prevention in the future. She uses a combination of manual therapy, movement analysis, and strength testing in order to assess, treat, and come up with the best recovery plan for you.
Claire is always keen to develop her physio skills and has recently completed a Pilates for Runners Course and Strength & Conditioning for Physios. With this knowledge, she can create an individual plan for you to help achieve your potential and exceed your goals by improving your strength and control outside of running/sport, to improve your overall performance.
